ML324 inhibits JMJD2 histone demethylases. (JMJD2 IC50=920 nM) Represses the expression of viral (HCMV and HSV-1) immediate early genes (IC50 ~ 10 mM) and abrogates infection. Represses the reactivation of HSV from the latent state in sensory neurons. Cell permeable.
