Recombinant 3CL-Pro proteinase (MPro) from SARS-COV-2, (33.8 kDa, residues 3264-3569 of orf1ab, Genbank ID QHD43415.1) expressed in E. coli, tag-less. Mpro is the main protease responsible for proteolytic processing of polyproteins to generate functional viral polypeptides (1).

SUPPLIED AS: 4.4 µg/µL in 50 mM Tris/HCl, pH 7.5, 200 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA1.0 mM DTT, 5% glycerol (v/v)

STORAGE: -70°C. Thaw quickly and store on ice before use. The remaining, unused, undiluted protein should be snap frozen, for example in a dry/ice ethanol bath or liquid nitrogen. Minimize freeze/thaws if possible, but very low volume aliquots (<5 µl) or storage of diluted enzyme is not recommended.
